自2009年起，广东省中医院每年举办“杏林寻宝”活动，引进64项特色疗法，组织跟师51项，培养院内传承人330余人次，为22名献宝人建立名医工作室并给予经费扶持，为7项特色疗法组建中医特色疗法专业小组。
